Heidi, I have been gawking at your rings for so long on Instagram! When John and I started talking about rings on a train ride from NYC to Boston, I immediately pulled up your page to show him my vision. I’ve always admired the somehow modern, somehow timeless work you pull off and could only dream of having one of your creations on my finger! John made that dream a reality in the Boston Public Library; surrounded by old world elegance, rich marble, dark wood, and some very big feelings, he popped the question. Since I’m writing this, it was clearly a HUGE yes to him and another massive yes to this gorgeous ring!! Thank you for being a part of our story, I get lost looking at this ring everyday!

This past fall, Dave and I camped in northern Minnesota. We decided to ride the gondola up Lutsen Mountain and look at the beautiful fall colors. Overlooking the bright oranges and reds, Dave proposed. I've always wanted a Heidi Gibson ring, and I'm so happy it came from my best friend. We are so excited!

Aidan proposed at a flower patch that we go to every year in the pouring down rain. He told me that the owner needed new content to post on social media and needed a couple for photos. I had no idea, and our families were hiding in a bean field along with photographers to capture the beautiful moment. I was so amazed when he pulled a Heidi Gibson ring out of the box! Tyler proposed at sunrise after we hiked in the dark at Acadia National Park. The sun came out and the fog dissipated over the ocean at the perfect time! I’ve been following along with you for about 5 years now and had the honor of receiving my very own, incredibly crafted, Heidi Gibson ring. 2 weeks ago the love of my life, Drew Bender, asked me to continue on with forever. We got engaged in the town we’ve built such a beautiful life in, at a spot that’s so special to us, during golden hour, just the two of us. We’ve been together for 10 years this upcoming November and are the farthest thing from traditional, so we are eloping to Vegas and getting married on our 10 year anniversary weekend 🧡 We can’t stress enough how much this experience, the ring, and overall moment means to us. I had my ring design chosen before I even met my husband. A friend of mine got married in 2016 and it made me think about what ring I would want someday. I love vintage and alternative stones, and was immediately drawn to your work. Things were set in motion when my husband drew my attention to this “huuuuge” ring a content creator was wearing as she trimmed her cat’s claws (Nimbus, obviously). I took a look and said, “Oh, yeah, wow, that’s not the Heidi Gibson Rhapsody. That’s not exactly the one I want…” I didn’t know that he would be contacting you within the month. The proposal was private - we had an evening out and an emotional heart to heart on our drive home. I was getting undressed in the bathroom and opened the door to tell him a funny story when he said, “I have something for you.” I was shocked, and overwhelmed. It was incredible and I couldn’t wait to show it off. We had a trip to Seattle planned for the next month and I was contemplating hiring a photographer for our announcement. We arrived in Seattle and spent time exploring the city together. We perused Pike Place and had an enjoyable lunch overlooking the sound. We were prepared to leave the market when my fiance said he needed to use the restroom, so I followed suit. I distinctly remember looking at my ring as I took it off to wash my hands and thinking about how beautiful it was, and how I couldn’t wait to announce our engagement during the trip. I dried my hands and walked right out the door. It was nearly 90 minutes later when we were in our hotel room that I realized my ring wasn’t on my finger. My entire body got hot. I sat up and announced “I think I’m going to throw up.” I felt so immediately sick because I knew in that moment exactly where I had left that ring: on the sink in the public bathroom. I sobbed the entire way back to the market, hyperventilating and moving faster than even my fiance could keep up with. I never felt so idiotic in my life and I couldn’t control how genuinely devastated I was when I saw it was gone. We asked around each shop, met with the information booth and security, and left our contact information. Everyone assured me it would show up, but it never did. It hadn’t been insured yet, and the cost for replacement via insurance would be essentially the same cost as purchasing a new one. My husband and I joke that the stone was too small, so I just left it behind as an excuse to get another. I love my new ring, and even more so now that it’s paired with an open-front wedding band that enhances the design without overshadowing it. Thank you for being such a big part of this journey. Ultimately, the lost ring brought us closer together - I can only assume whoever took the original needed it more than I did.

I just wanted to thank you for my beautiful perfect masterpiece of a ring. I couldn’t have imagined a more magical piece given to me by the love of my life on our 8th anniversary while on vacation in Puerto Rico. This ring made it a trip to remember. I thought having one of your pieces was just a dream but you helped my now finance make that dream a reality. The center stone is a piece of our favorite trip together, in Australia, matched with being my mother’s birth stone and to top it off it gives me the feeling of a perfect snowflake. Traveling and snow and skiing is a massive part of our life and our love story and this ring tied it all together for me. I will cherish it forever.

Our Love Story – Ani & [Merissa] Ani and I met the modern way—on Hinge—but from the very beginning, it felt like something timeless was unfolding. I remember seeing her profile and thinking, “This girl is super cute and probably way out of my league.” Meanwhile, Ani’s first thought was, “This human is hot AND vegan—score.” Safe to say, sparks flew. For our first date, we visited the Barn Sanctuary in Chelsea, Michigan. We're both vegan and animal lovers, so spending time with rescued animals while learning about their stories felt like the most perfect, meaningful beginning. It was gentle and grounding—just like Ani. I think I truly knew she was the one during our first trip together to New York City. Being in my favorite place with this incredible person made everything feel brand new in the best way. Ani later told me she had her moment in Chicago on New Year’s Eve, over vegan pizza. Somehow, that feels just right. Ani is the kindest soul I’ve ever met. She welcomes everyone with open arms and an open heart. Though she’s a bit shy at first, once she warms up, her laugh will absolutely light up the room. Her smile is infectious. And the sound of her voice? That’s home. When it came time to propose, I went back and forth on the “how,” wanting it to be just right. We were planning a trip to Milwaukee to visit Ani’s best friend Stacey, and I knew it could be the perfect moment. I originally planned to propose at a gazebo in a nearby park, but the weather had other plans. With Stacey’s help, we pivoted—and I’m so glad we did. We walked into Stacey’s apartment to find flower petals and LED candles lining a soft, glowing path—LANY's "nobody else" playing in the background. It led to the balcony, where I got down on one knee and asked the love of my life to spend forever with me. The custom Heidi Gibson ring I proposed to her with was more than a piece of jewelry—it was a reflection of Ani herself: unique, brilliant, and breathtaking.

I've been following your Instagram for a couple of years now. I've always admired all of your beautiful designs and dreamt of one day, having something you designed on my finger. So naturally, I would "subtly" drop hints about "this one designer on Instagram" to my (now fiancee) in hopes that one day, I could have one. Now I can finally say I do!!! Not only is the cut, bezel, sunburst, etc. everything I've ever wanted and more, I can't believe he chose a design with PINK SAPPHIRES in the band!! My jaw dropped when I noticed them.
