Every ring has a story...

Life was “lifeing" pretty hard the past couple of years, and we know find ourselves in Colorado and too far from the beach. Here are a few photos from our engagement in Santa Barbara a couple of years ago and our elopement in Joshua Tree last month. I not sure, I thought the beach was great, but I must say, the desert sun really makes that ring pop! What do you think? :D

We met back in school and quickly became close, real best friends. Not in the way people casually say it, but in the kind of way where we chose each other every day without even realizing it. We spent almost everyday side by side, building something steady and unspoken before we ever let ourselves consider more. If anything, we hesitated at first. We both knew how rare what we had was, and neither of us wanted to risk it. But the moment we finally took the chance and went on that first date, everything shifted into place. It wasn’t a surprise, it was a quiet certainty. We had been each other’s person all along. Eight years later, he completely surprised me with a proposal at one of our favorite places, tucked inside a beautiful garden in a perfectly still, private moment. I had been waiting for it for so long, and yet somehow still felt like it was far away, which made it all the more surreal when it happened. I said yes somewhere between laughter, nerves, and overwhelming joy. In a moment that felt almost too perfect to plan, I had chosen to wear a green dress that day, only to have it match my emerald ring. Entirely serendipitous. Simple, intentional, and more meaningful than anything extravagant could have been, it was simply us. Thank you so much, Heidi, for creating something so special and unique! It was truly an honor to have a piece so beautifully crafted by you!

THANK YOU. Thank you for making an amazing custom ring of my dreams! I cannot believe that I finally have one of your masterpieces on my hand, after insta-stalking you for years. After being together for close to 11 years and since I designed the ring initially, I'm sure he felt that it would be hard to surprise me. But, he threw together an amazing surprise proposal that included family (from Louisville and Texas), close friends, a 21C hotel room/art gallery photoshoot, dinner, and post-dinner drinks with ALL of the friends I would have wanted to share the news with. After we made "paper-doll rings" at book club one summer night (aka me cutting out way too many rings from your PDF, putting a bubble of tape on the back of each one, and holding my hand up to decide if we liked the shape and/or size), nothing was more fun than showing all my friends the real thing. I appreciate how responsive you were to me during my initial planning phases. Heidi is the absolute best! I came to her in my early planning phase of designing an engagement ring for my then girlfriend. To say that she was helpful would be an understatement. She held my hand through the entire process and offered invaluable insight and advice. After my initial idea, the ring changed at least 2 more times before we finally ended up with the final design. She advised me about color, metals, and even if certain stones would incur hidden maintenance issues. She even reached out to a different gemstone cutter for me so I could get the exact color I was looking for in the center stone; this was all while keeping the total cost at my stated budget. I'm engaged now and my fiance adores the ring. One of her friends even said, "if I knew a ring like this existed..." Needless to say, Heidi did a wonderful job and is making me look really good 😅 Thank you so much Heidi! I couldn't recommend you more.
